For marshals, sign crews and convoy staff working a race with LocusBase. Download the app, log in with the details from your race briefing, and follow the guide for your role below.
Problems logging in or using the app?
LocusBase is responsible for the app. Who you contact depends on when the problem occurs. The names and numbers are shared before the race and at the briefing.
Contact your lead
If you cannot log in, contact the race director, the stationary marshal lead or the mobile marshal lead first, or whoever else has been appointed for your race.
The race director contacts LocusBase
During the race, LocusBase is responsible for the app working. The race director has a direct line to LocusBase if anything comes up.

After you log in
You will first see the races and stages you have been assigned. Today's race is marked as active as the start approaches. Tap the active race to open your task.
Stationary marshal
- 01Tap the active race to see where you are assigned to stand.
- 02Tap Go to position and the app guides you there.
- 03When you arrive, tap Check in. The race director can now see that you are in place.
Mobile marshal — motorcycle or car
- 01Tap the active race to open your assignment.
- 02When you reach your vehicle, tap Check in.
- 03You are now active on the map and visible to the race director.
Sign crew
- 01Log in to see every sign assigned to you for placement.
- 02The first sign in the list is the nearest. Work your way down the list.
- 03At each position, tap Register. Do the same when the sign is taken down after the race.
You are only tracked during an active race.
